The painting in the corners is called the Ox-Tail decoration. It is very typical of Dutch delftware tiles, and you will find them on tiles up to 400 years old.
When four tiles are placed together, the ox-tail corners form a much more intricate pattern. Select either crackled or uncrackled finish.
